Bainbridge Island Community Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

Join us on October 13, 2025 to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day with music, food, vendors, and community. The event features a welcome song, potluck, and a special presentation by Suquamish weaver Danielle Morsette, whose work is showcased in Seattle and Portland museums and who designed the popular Salish Sea Kit for the Seattle Sounders. Come honor Coast Salish traditions and connect through art and culture. All BISD Staff, Students, Families and Community Members are invited!

Beginner Strings – After School Music Lessons

The Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestra offers a beginner class for violin, viola, or cello. Students will learn skills, note reading, rhythm, and ensemble playing while making new friends. Cost: $300/term.
