Gaps in State Funding

The Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) and Washington State School Directors Association (WSSDA) identified three key funding areas for legislative advocacy. School districts across Washington are reviewing these areas to compare what is spent versus what the state provides. As the graphic shows, since 2020, BISD has been underfunded by a total of $20.25 million in these areas.
