Capital Projects exists to oversee the building and renovation of projects funded by voter-approved bonds. The Bainbridge Island community has demonstrated support of BISD projects by approving a $45M Bond in 2006, a $42M Bond in 2009, a $81.2M Bond in 2016 and a $15M Levy in 2019.
As teaching methods evolve, buildings need to adapt and evolve with them. The Bainbridge Island School District is committed to creating and maintaining the best possible learning environment for all students in a fiscally responsible and progressively sustainable manner. Our desire is to build schools that inspire learning now and incorporate flexibility for the future.
