Free and reduced-price lunches may be obtained by any student -- at any time during the school year -- whose family income falls within the guidelines set by the US Department of Agriculture.  Families are encouraged to apply.  For assistance, call (206-780-1844) or email:

Print Letter to Households and a Free and Reduced Price Meal Application or a Spanish Free and Reduced Price Meal Application - or you may pick up one in any school office, the district office, or at the Food & Nutrition Services office, 9445 NE New Brooklyn Road, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. All application information is confidential and is used only to determine eligibility for the program. Students receiving meals under this plan use the same PIN pad to access their account as all students and thus, can remain anonymous. 


Those who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch may also receive additional benefits such as reduced class/athletic fees and reduced PSAT & SAT testing. (Spanish Translated)

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
