HUMAN RESOURCES

BISD’s Human Resources Department is dedicated to cultivating an environment where education thrives. Anchored in our belief that a strong public education is a fundamental value within our community, we strive to nurture the next generation of learners by ensuring that our teachers and staff are valued, supported, and equipped with the resources they need.

We approach our work with a guiding question: 'How do we make things better for our students, staff, and community?' Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, we aim for strong student achievement and a supportive and engaging educational environment for all.

Our mission is to:

  • Aid in recruiting, selecting, and supporting the individuals who directly contribute to our students' education, providing them with the necessary resources, knowledge, and efficient systems to excel in their roles.
  • Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement, making our district a sought-after place to work and learn. We prioritize positive interactions, valuing the diverse thoughts, experiences, and expertise of each team member.
  • Maintain a strong connection with our community, staying informed about district and community needs, and ensuring our actions support the education values we hold dear.
