Kindergarten Information Nights & Visits

Kindergarten Information Night

Learn about the BISD Kindergarten program and registration process.

WHO: Parents And Guardians Of 2023-2024 Kindergarten Students. (Students must turn five years old by August 31, 2023.)

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: At Wilkes Elementary School, 12781 Madison Ave. (Representatives from all BISD elementary schools will be in attendance.)

 

 

If you are interested in exploring other kindergarten options within BISD, please make plans to attend the following: 

  • MOSAIC HOME PARTNERSHIP  K-8 & ODYSSEY* MULTIAGE K-8 GUARDIAN INFO NIGHT
    WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
    WHERE:     Commodore, 9530 NE High School Road
     
  • EL VELERO* SPANISH IMMERSION KINDERGARTEN GUARDIAN INFO NIGHT
    WHEN: Thursday, Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. 
    WHERE: Ordway Elementary, 8555 Madison Ave. N

*Admittance to Odyssey and El Velero is via a lottery.  

Kindergarten Visits

School visitations allow students and parents/guardians to visit a kindergarten class, tour the school and learn more about BISD. Visits of El Velero and Odyssey will take place after their enrollment lotteries.

  • WILKES ELEMENTARY: Wednesday, February 15th at 8:30 a.m.
  • BLAKELY ELEMENTARY: Thursday, February 16th at 8:30 a.m. 
  • ORDWAY ELEMENTARY: Friday, February 17th at 8:30 a.m.
