Career & Technical Education (CTE)

A young person is working on a lathe in a wood shop.Career & Technical Education (CTE) is an educational model that aligns secondary and postsecondary education to labor market demand, and provides students with the technical, academic and employability knowledge and skills they need for success. Put simply — CTE prepares students for the career of their choice.

Get involved with CTE in Bainbridge Island through an Advisory Committee.

Our CTE Advisory Committee is composed of business and industry members, instructors, current students, former students, post-secondary partners and parents. The role of the committee is to guide program pathways through continual improvement using their expertise in the occupational areas. These groups do not function as policy makers and are not asked to make such decisions.

Please join us for our CTE Advisory Committee Meetings!
