A Message from the Principal
|
Hello Spartan Community - November greetings! It has been a wild weather week - we are thinking of our families who have been without power for multiple days and wishing you safety and warmth!
Congratulations to our band students for an amazing fall performance last night. I was lucky to be there and hear our students in action - the musical talent of our students is always so amazing! Equally, bravo to the amazing cast and tech team that produced The Outsiders, our fall production. It was an an outstanding show! And finally, congrats to the strong finishes at districts and state by our fall sport athletes! Bainbridge was on the map for sure! We are proud of you all!
Exciting news from our ASB leadership - our ASB officers are thrilled to announce our first all-school formal, off-campus dance in many years. Tickets will go on sale next week for “The Evergreen Gala” at Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo on Saturday January 25th. Our website and social media will announce the QR code when tickets are live. It is going to be an amazing night for our students! Thank you to our ASB for leading the charge on a new tradition!
And lastly, I want to take a moment to thank our greater community, and in particular our PTSO, for all of their ongoing generous support of our school - from treats and meals, to mini grants, to volunteers during school and extracurricular events, and our incredibly generous community members who continue to support our schools, some even after their kids have grown! We live in a special place where we look out for one another and take care of each other. As we look ahead to next week and expressing gratitude, I want to take this opportunity to spotlight the great fortune to live and work in a community that puts such an importance on fostering our youth and the support for our amazing teachers and staff who work in our BISD schools. We are very grateful!
Wishing you all a safe and restful Thanksgiving next week,
Kristina Rodgers, BHS Principal

Thanks so much for all of your help to make this year’s Thanksgiving luncheon such a success!
We’re helping the CCS classes with a special winter project! They’ve made an Amazon Wishlist of supplies that will be shared by every CCS class. Please consider making a purchase on Amazon to support this event for our students.
SAVE THE DATE ~ GRAD NIGHT OUT 2025: Grad Night Out (GNO) is a once-in-a-lifetime graduation event! GNO is not a school sponsored event. It is sponsored and planned by senior parents. The venues are "Top Secret" but the activities are not! We have planned a fantastic night filled with dancing, music, games, entertainment, surprises, and food. NO ONE should miss this memorable opportunity! ALL 2025 BISD Grads are invited! More details can be found here as well through the GNO website.
