Back to School Hub

School starts Tuesday, September 1.  (Kindergarten is Friday, September 4th)  We are so excited to welcome our students back into our buildings and classrooms!  Provided below is information and links to resources you will need as we lead up to our first day of school.  If you have any questions – please don’t hesitate to reach out to our wonderful Office Mangers at each school.  They are ready to answer any questions you might have!  Their names and numbers are at the bottom of this page.

 

ABC Registration

Please complete your ABC's ASAP!  Families will not be able to view their student's class schedule until they have completed their ABC's.  In order to complete the ABC process for your student, log in to Skyward Family Access and click on the ABC 26-27 tab.

 

Bus Route Information

Head to our transportation page to learn how to download the BusRight app.  This app will tell you what route you are on and what your pickup and dropoff times are for your family.

 

Calendar

We have a different schedule this year!  Our students will go to school for full days Monday-Friday.  Each month there will be one full or half day release.  Here are important calendar links.

 

Class Placement & Class Schedule

Placement information and schedules are released the week of August 24-28th and can be viewed in Skyward Family Access.  Please read your school’s August newsletter for specific dates and times.  

Note: Your child must be registered (ABCs completed) to view their schedule/class placement.

 

Communication

The Bainbridge Island School District uses uses the ParentSquare communication platform for district, school and teacher communications. ParentSquare provides a secure way for the district, school principal, teachers, staff and families to send and receive district, school and class information.  Learn more about ParentSquare!

 

First Day of School Pictures

Capture your BISD kiddo with this picture (Coming Soon) and email it to blockett@bisd303.org.  We will highlight our students on our website and social media!

Supply Lists 

  • BHS: Teachers will provide this information on their course syllabus and/or will let students know of specific supply needs the first week of school.

Volunteer

Become a BISD Volunteer and help out in your child’s school or classroom.  It takes about two weeks to go through the approval process and lasts for two years!  Learn more about our volunteer application process.
