We are so excited to welcome our students back into our buildings and classrooms!  Below is information and links to resources you will need as we ramp up for our 26-27 school year. If you have any questions – please don’t hesitate to reach out to our wonderful Office Managers at each school.  They are ready to answer any questions you might have!  Their names, emails and phone numbers are in the school resources section.

 

First Day of School

Grades 1-12: Tuesday, September 1st

Kindergarten: Friday, September 4th

Preschool: Tuesday, September 8th

ALP: Tuesday, September 1st

 

ABC Registration

Please complete your ABC's ASAP!  Families will not be able to view their student's class schedule until they have completed their ABC's.  In order to complete the ABC process for your student, log in to Skyward Family Access and click on the ABC 26-27 tab.

 

Bus Route Information

Head to our transportation page to learn how to download the BusRight app.  This app will tell you what route you are on and what your pickup and dropoff times are for your family.

 

Calendar

We have a different schedule this year!  Our students will go to school for full days Monday-Friday.  Each month there will be one full or half day release.  Here are important calendar links:

  • Spartan Startup for 9th graders and new students: Sept 1st at 8:45
  • Supply List Information: Students should bring a bag with pencils, a folder, paper and anything that has worked for them in previous years.  Teachers will provide class specifc supply information in their syllabus or during the first week of school.

Communication

The Bainbridge Island School District uses uses the ParentSquare communication platform for district, school and teacher communications. ParentSquare provides a secure way for the district, school principal, teachers, staff and families to send and receive district, school and class information.  Learn more about ParentSquare!

Medication at School

A medication at school form must be on file for ANY medication taken at school, even if it is over the counter.  Medication orders at school need to be renewed each school year.  The form must be completed by a physician and parent before the student may take medication at school.

 

Volunteer

Become a BISD Volunteer and help out in your child’s school or classroom.  It takes about two weeks to go through the approval process and lasts for two years!  Learn more about our volunteer application process.
