Thank you to our fabulous PTO for providing lunches during conferences. We are so grateful for you all.

Attendance:

You can submit your child's attendance in three ways:

Send us an email at blaattend@bisd303.org
Put the Absence in Skyward
Call the Attendance line (206) 780-

Changes in Transportation:

We will always follow your student's transportation plan unless you need to change the plan. Please let us know prior to 12:30pm on Monday 2:00pm Tuesday-Friday. You can do that these two ways:

Email blabus@bisd303.org (We will always confirm)
Call us at 206-842-4752 (Option 3)

Drop Off in the Morning:

Please don't drop of your student prior to 7:30am. Breakfast service begins at 7:30am.

Kindly refrain from parking in the main parking lot and walking your student up. We have staff that have been unable to park in the morning which makes it difficult to start their shift on time. There is street parking and parking on Baker Hill at the Crosswalk. Thank you for your support with this.

PTO News and Events

Thursday After School Creative Crafts Club - Grades 1-4

What: Join Ms. Colleen Titos in a 5-week after-school Creative Crafts Club, where young artists can explore a variety of fun and hands-on projects! Each class offers a mix of structured and free play, a snack break, and exciting activities. Kids will learn basic crochet techniques from chains to magic circles, and will create items like heart garlands, coasters, and wearable accessories. Additional projects may include crafting mini cornucopias, designing trinket boxes, weaving cardboard or macrame gnomes, and building nature-inspired dioramas and snow globes. Who: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders
When: Thursdays from 2:20 - 4:00pm, November 14 - December 19 (no class 11/28)
Cost: $85 per student (please make checks payable to Blakely PTO with "Craft

Club/Student Name" in memo; checks may be dropped off to Kyanne Hawkins or brought to the first day of Craft Club)

Feedback RE: BISD's Permanent Superintendent

In late September, School Board President Mark Emerson and Vice President Kelly Cancialosi shared a message about the hiring process for the permanent BISD superintendent.

The Board wants your feedback! You can provide input through this Parents/Guardians/Community Survey. In addition, a community meeting open to all will be held on November 7 at 5:45 p.m. in the Board Room.
