Introducing Co-LAB at Commodore
If you have been around BISD’s central campus, you may have noticed eye-catching new paint colors on buildings between Commodore Options and Bainbridge High School. Why the fresh coat of paint? It is to designate the new space for Co-LAB-oration Academy, a bold and innovative educational experience to creatively meet the needs of diverse learners.
The 2024-25 school year serves as Co-LAB’s pilot year and is an offshoot of Commodore’s Mosaic Home Education Partnership. Filled with thematic project-based learning opportunities, community-building activities and flexible schedules, Co-LAB hopes to fill the need for an additional non-traditional schooling option where students and families thrive.
“Commodore is all about option programs and meeting our students where they are,” said Principal Trish Corsetti. “I am certain Co-LAB will quickly become an important part of the Commodore community.”
In the 2024-25 school year, Co-LAB will welcome eight students in grades 4th through 6th. The program is currently at capacity, but if you would like to put your student’s name on the waiting list or to learn more about the program, please contact Trish Corsetti at tcorsetti@bisd303.org
